the film "MA" with Boris Nieslony is ready

A man sets out with a table on his back and a suitcase in his hand. Accompanied by strange dreams, he follows his "songline" towards the south. The path finally takes him into the mountains, where he leaves the table on a high cliff. In the taproom of a mountain cabin, the last part of his walkabout begins - a journey in the in-between space - between dream and reality and between life and death.

MA is a filmic psychogram of the artist Boris Nieslony, who has influenced the history of international performance art for many years.

Nieslony´s minimalistic and obsessive actions create strong and lasting images, carried by the  music of Thomas Reinhart, a composer from  Linz
and the voice of the Viennese actor Otto David.

Harringer: "The visible story of the movie actually consits of the walking and performing scenes, and in-between there is the MA, the in-between space, the real subject of my project. For me, Nieslony´s performances are  shamanic rituals, which makes you feel and watch the MA and your inner visions."

The dreams recounted in the film are Boris Nieslony's "real dreams".

The scenes of the film are located along a "songline" between Pohori na Sumave (Czech Republic) and Hallstadt (Upper Austria) dreamed by Gerald Harringer.
