Die erste und bis jetzt die einzige Ausgabe vom ASA-Kompass (ab sofort ASA-Newsletter) ist am 1. März 2001 erschienen. Unsere Leser und Newsletterbezieher wurden also nicht mit Extra-Nachrichten, Aktualisierungsankündigungen, News oder andere Art von redundante Briefverkehr - wie es im Internet leider so oft der Fall ist -  verschwemmt. Wir werden in der Zukunft auch ziemlich spärlich unsere erfrischende Newsletter verschicken. Zeichnen Sie also in ihrem Kalender schon jetz vor: 2003 Frühling im ePostfach nach ASA-Newsletter zu stöbern.

Was gibt es neues bei ASA? Fangen wir mit den Wesentlichen an. Der eine hat Bart bekommen, der andere die Zähne verloren, der dritte Violine gebaut, es wurde die ersten Maßnahmen für die Einführung der ASA-Währung (die Folgewährung von EURO, der Einzug der alte Währung ist schon im Gange, sie können die alten EURO-Scheine bei ASA jeder Zeit diskret und anonym abgeben) vorgenommen, wir haben den Raum für Angenehme Körpertemperatur und Kochkunst eröffnet, unsere unter manische Depression leidende Archivar-Abteilung hat - nach den Schwarze Laden - wieder neue Bild- und Gedankenspeicher gebaut usw. Da die Liste der wesentlichen Aktivitäten so lang wäre, dass die Aufzählung in die unwesentliche umschlagen würde, begrenzen wir uns auf die Neuzugänge auf der ASA-Site ab 01. 03. 2001:

Versuche der medientaugliche Visualisierung des Forschungsprojekt "Kontext".
The ASA-research in Performance Art and Performing Art include three ways.
1.1. The diagram. Done in collaboration with Gerhard Dirmoser, based on around 120 terms (in the field of cultural performances) with 32 views in science, short definitions, ca. 900 performance artists and ca. 400 scientists with references to literature.
1.2. Under construction are textes (from the last 50 years) for this 120 terms.(Now 140 terms)

=> Das Menue unseres SERVICE, dass über Jahre das Schattendasein pflegte, ja ganz einfach die Zeit verschlief, entwickelt sich nun neu, der Frühling weckte und erweckt.

The first (and in this moment no longer last) ASA Compass was distributed in March 2001. Since that time we haven't overwhelmed You with news, actualities, announcements and the usual web-info-overkill. That's the way we like it. Don't forget to premark Spring 2003 for the next ASA Compass... 

Now, what happens in a year? Someone has meanwhile a goatee, another one no more teeth and yet another has built 2 violins; we have started the monetary reform based on new ASA-ART-Money, the follower currency of EURO (if You still haven't exchange Your old Dollar- or Euro-Notes into ASA's currency, You can always do this); further we have opened the Room for Pleasent BodyTemperature and CookingArt (Raum für Angenehme Körpertemperatur und Kochkunst) and our chronic depressive archive-department works - after the giant project Black Cases ("Schwarze Lade") - in highmania at the building of new storage-towers for icons and ideas.

Towards a structural visualization of the research-project "Context":
