PERFORMANCE CONFERENCE 3 Sunday, 29. September 1996 ASA-European will arrange the third Performance Conference. The first meeting and the manifestation of the Performance Conference was in November 1995, on the occasion of the APIC event in the "Belgische Haus" in Cologne. In the following month, the activity around the performance conference produced several results. The first step was the collection of textes, which we brought together in a kind of reader, the next , we developed a paper of questions and the third step was the second meeting of the Performance Conference, which we held up on 15.06.1996. This event was basically arranged as a pilot project and the members, performers and speakers were mainly from Cologne and the surrounding areg, with some guests from Berlin and Bielefeld. In the first meeting, we excepted the development of the Performance Conference in Europe and to open the structure as a permanent encounting in parallel times and different spaces. Now, the third meeting will be on 29.09.1996 and we work together with the Performance-Index from Basel/Switzerland. Also, we are in connection with the mayor Performance-Festival in Nové-Zámky/Slovakia, they held up this festival in the same time. On this day, we will install an on-line station in the 3 places. The Performance-Index and the Performance Conference will make an invitation card and press-info together. Further on, we will print a documentation about the three meetings, about all textes we got and we get in the next months. This reader should find an open and developable shape, for example disquette.
