As for your questions
I do make autonomous photography works in strong relationship with my performances, sometimes they are intimate clicks, moments in time, unseen by an audience, just a performance in front of the camera, which can later
turn out to become a performance, or the other way around.
The tension of the intimacy is what creates unexpected images, photographs, found in nothingness or everyness.
What concerns documentation of performance, I prefer one good photograph a still, over a video, strong moment in time again, but always consider it documentation.
This is my personal experience, I don't have a statement about it, this is the way I use it, it may and can be used in any possible means
