I'm artist from Macedonia, who make videoperfomance and photo. I got
yours announced for the project, but sorry I was late with my
answer, so I have a lot of obligation. Anyway, I' m interesting for yours
project.
About Yours questions. What is import for the perfomer, artist
good shoot - , or right moment.
How I make videoperfomance , for me I can't shape this two situation.
God shoot is important , but if its not exist good moment ( or didn't catch
somebody who will shoot) is also handicap for the project. When you make
videoperformance , and after that editing , is
easy , because you can repeat some situation and you can found
good shoot and right moment.
But generally this two situation its impossible to divide .Good moment
(sometimes is for one step more important then quality of the shooting)
.

curator, and some photo action

I hope that you keep my texts what I sent you before. I told
Maja Cankulovska curator who is also interesting to participate with
text on yours thema. Some of the texts in my works are written by
Maja Cankulovska.
I will ad only another text and you can choice what is interesting
for you or if you have more questions, but tomorrow I will leaving on two
workshop , so in that case I'm not sure how much time I will have to answer
you, if you have some recommend you have to say me
faster.
I sent you photo of my photo performance "For our own good"-made in
Macedonia and videoperformance NEST.
Nest is one videoworks 5" what I have shooting in America (Boston),
and Skopje/Macedonia. My base idea was to connect two city .The dream of
every Macedonian's man from ancestors it as to go abroad from own country
, (especially in America) and found promise NEST. But what is nest? Needs
or...wish. how many nest we can build through our own life?! Lot of them.
The people is look like the bird, they can build always a new nest where
they are. But, the nest will be always with equipments and habits from
the lend from where they coming. They can't give up from habits ,
they have aspiration for traditional equipments. They
have roots, but... I ask myself which nest will be better where are
our roots or good conditional for the life. In all my works I use
the performance and body language like basic inproduce for my idea. The
performance for my opinion is always open to show the
real instinct, real thoughts, and body language is more sincere then
everything else.
So, when you make videoperformance the situation is good because we
can repeat the move, speak, look (lot of material for editing ) and get
the picture how we want. But of course the lot of score is in the
hand of cameraman, about that we have to speak with them lot of
hour or to found easy way to bring over our feeling and thinking-idea.
He/she has to start thinking like me.
About photo performance, where the photo document is "witness" for
the performance and after that "witness" for the event they are also same
"problem".
Photograph has to start thinking like me, inproduce my idea close him/her,
patience, found right moment, good composition on the picture, quality
of the photopaper. This is component for good presentation the performance.
But I , like authors I prefer to see good
moment , right situation , other quality the paper of the photo.
The project performance "for our own good"-made in Macedonia ,I would
like to show then Macedonian artists is also "good product" , and the state
must protect us, like economic productions. The sign of my body is slogan
what we hear every day in campaign to protect our economy : by the macedonian
productions this is for our own good -made in macedonia. You can found
this sign on the everything : billboard, citylight, reklama, newspaper
and on the every product what you will buy.
Of course this is for our own good….but some protection on the art
and artists the best production from every country
