ENNO STAHL/COLOGNE 1) "voice garden" - an installation with 8 walkmen in Wat Umong 8 endless tapes are running simultaneously, all the sounds that you hear are produced by the author`s voice or voice-producing instruments (lips, tongues, teeth, nose). this collection shall present a balance between nature (the surroundings) and art (human intervention) since voice as a organic part of the body is natural, too. 2) "traffic against" - sound poetry/performance (tha pae gate) the author is running around in circles, producing heavenly sounds like "T T!!" as long as he stands it. these voice sounds are transmitted by a wireless microphone while an assistent is quickly moving the speaker around the public - so that the sound is changing the direction all the time. finally the assistent holds the speaker against the roaring traffic of tha pae gate. (changed version in bangkok: now based on words: "kill - ka"/ "puke - oarnk") 3) "shoes" - performance (Silpakorn University in the 55 PERFORMANCES SHOW) the author says "I love my shoes" and is licking them heavily. 4) "vision" - performance (Silpakorn Univers. in the 55 PERFORMANCES SHOW) the author says to the audience: "I want you to think with me a great vision of peace, freedom and democrati" after doing so for a certain time, he claims: "do you really think that`s enough?" |
